The perfect solution to retrofitting an electronic transmission, this economical adapter pigtails into the electronic speedometer harness and has a connection to drive a cable driven speedometer. I decided to go to aftermarket gauges so I don't need it anymore. I had it mounted in a 68 Camry with the control right behind the gauge. Tci speedometer control unit for electronic transmission with a short cable.

It worked very well. I used this control for about 5k miles. Fully configurable for any tire size and rear gear ratio. The short cable is key to making the speedometer work smoothly.
